YOUTH MINISTRY
High School years are probably the most challenging and perplexing, wrapped with confusing
issues and unwanted decisions. Most struggles are with choices: Where do I fit,
what do I believe in, and whom can I trust. We feel it is imperative to have
a well-balanced ministry that will address these needs of High School students. Here
is how we do this:
Sunday Morning 9:30 AM they meet in a large group led by a teacher and discuss a lesson
that is Bible centered.
Friday Night at CL is designed to give our Youth an outlet for activities, trips, and just
plain fun.
Our Bible Studies offer an alternative for our youth in a large group events, with videos,
crowd breakers, music, competition and practical talks aimed at motivating our students to walk with God and for those who
do not know God to begin a relationship with Him.
Other events: Trips for Concerts, Amusement parks, summer camp through out the year. Each designed to reach, challenge, love and encourage youth, both in the church and
out.
Other Ministries
AA Group meet on Tuesday at 7:00 PM
Substance Abuse Group meet on Friday at 7:00 PM
MISSIONS MINISTRY
“Go
therefore and make disciples of all the nations.” Matthew 28:19
FSBC of Cordes Lakes takes seriously God's mandate to take the gospel to all "the people". We
believe all Christians are to be committed to world evangelism, either as one that 'goes' or one that 'sends'. Our church
supports the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention which helps support our mission work overseas , through
out the United States or right here in our state.
Take some time and look through the organizations that we support. You will find their links below.
